Anti-CXCR4 Rabbit mAb
Catalog number :AT0452
CXCR4 is a chemokine receptor that belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor family. It is activated by a small cytokine, CXCL12, also known as stromal cell derived factor 1 (SDF-1). The main function of CXCR4 is the mediation of the homing of progenitor cells in the bone marrow and their recruitment to sites of injury. More recently, CXCR4 has been studied, as a potential therapeutic target, in the context of autoimmune diseases as well as cancer, as the receptor is involved in the regulation of migration, proliferation, and survival of cancer cells.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: CXCR4 Antibody - Jurkat cells were fixed for 10 minutes using 10% formalin and then permeabilized for 5 minutes using 1X TBS + 0.5% Triton-X100. The cells were incubated with anti-CXCR4 (AT0452) at a 1:50 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature and detected with an anti-rabbit Dylight 488 (Green) at a 1:500 dilution. Alpha tubulin was used as a co-stain at a 1:1000 dilution and detected with and anti-mouse Dylight 550 (Red) at a 1:500 dilution. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Cells were imaged using a 40X objective.
