QuickTrans™ Rapid Transfer Buffer (20 minutes, 20X) is an efficient membrane transfer solution with a concentration up to 20 times. It is used for Western Blot wet transfer and can transfer protein to membrane (PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane) efficiently and quickly. The membrane blotting process can be completed within 15-30 minutes without methanol.

- Highlights
• Safe—no methanol is used to reduce the use of toxic reagents
• Fast—15-30 minutes—complete the membrane transfer process (i.e., wet tank transfer from mini gels)
• Low heat—eliminates the heat of transferring
• Easy to use—no packets to open, no powder to dissolve, and no methanol required
• Save time—20X concentration eliminates time spent waiting for powder to dissolve
• Save space—storage as concentrated stock minimizes bench space needed for solutions
• Good compatibility—compatible with Laemmli gel, precast gel, FastPAGE, Bis Tris gel and other gel

- Protocols
- 1. Preparation of 1X rapid membrane transfer working solution (1000 ml): take 50 ml of rapid membrane transfer solution (20X) + 850 ml of deionized water + 100 ml of Ethanol absolute2. Make the transfer sandwich structure, and then transfer it to the electrophoresis tank. Set the constant current of 400 mA, and the electrophoresis time is 25-30 minutes to complete the protein transfer.Note:(1) The PVDF membrane should be wetted with anhydrous methanol for more than 30 seconds before use. This is not necessary for NC membrane.(2) It is recommended to set a constant current of 400 mA for the transfer current. Generally, proteins below 150 kD can be completely transferred in 25-30 minutes; Protein less than 100 kD can be completely transferred in 20 minutes; For proteins larger than 150 kD, it is recommended to extend the time of 5-10 minutes.(3) The concentration of gel affects the transfer efficiency. For the gel concentration of 7.5%, the transfer can be completed in 20 minutes. For gel concentration of 10%, transfer can be completed in 25-30 minutes. For gel concentration greater than 10%, it is recommended to extend the time of 5-10 minutes.(4) Transfer (No more than 40 minutes), which is not necessary to put the transfer tank on the ice.Pre-cooling ice is not allowed inside and outside of the transfer tank, otherwise the efficiency will be affected.
