QuickStrip™ 3-Minute Antibody Stripping Buffer (Strong)

Tested applications

Strip primary antibody and secondary antibody from the PVDF or NC membrane in western blotting.

Note:

When the molecular weight of the two target protein bands is very close, they cannot be separated by shearing the membrane. You can use QuickStrip™ 3-Minute Antibody Stripping Buffer for this situation.

Protocols

 

1. After the membrane chemiluminescence detection, rinse with DD H2O and discard DD H2O, then add QuickStrip™ Antibody Tripping Buffer.

 

2. Incubate at room temperature for 3-5 minutes (incubation at 4 ? is not required).

 

3. Wash the membrane with a large amount of double distilled water.

 

4. Then use 1 X TBST (Tween20 is 0.05%) to wash membrane 3 times, 5 minutes each time.

 

5. After the membrane is washed, it should be blocked again, then do the incubation of primary antibody and secondary antibody.

 

Attention

• The alkaline phosphatase AP-NBT/BCIP method is not applicable to this reagent.

• After stripping the membrane, the membrane should be blocked again.
